Pakistan Super League 2023
Pakistan Super League 2023 (also known as PSL 8 or HBL PSL 2023 for promotional reasons) is the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League, a Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015. Then the president of PCB, Ramiz Raja hinted at changing the auction system to change the structure for the 2023 season, but the design was kept. The joint session was held on December 15 in Karachi. A total of 36 foreigners were selected along with local players. The competition was held between February 13 and March 19, 2023
Venues:
The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that the tournament will be held in Multan, Peshawar, Lahore, and Karachi in the 2023 season. Lahore and Karachi are the same venues in 2022. The Arbab Niaz stadium in Peshawar has been declared unfit for tournament hosting. Quetta's Bugti Stadium has been added to the list of PSL venues. But it was canceled shortly after due to logistical reasons.
Match Officials:
On February 7, the PCB released the list of officials for the tournament, THAZNEWS which includes 3 of the 14 ICC elite teams.
Squads:
The list of retained players was announced in November 2022. The framework of the competition was completed on December 15 with the end of the letter.
