Knock at the Cabin
Knock at the Cabin is a 2023 American apocalyptic psychological horror film written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who wrote the screenplay from an original script by Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman. It is based on the 2018 novel The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul G. Tremblay, the first adaptation of one of his works. The movie stars Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn, and Rupert Grint. In the film, a family of three rests in a remote cabin but is suddenly captured by four aliens who want to sacrifice themselves to prevent the apocalypse.
Plot:
We spent seven years vacationing with her parents, Eric and Andrew, at their home in rural Pennsylvania. While there, he met a stranger named Leonard.THEAZNEWS At first charming, he explains that he needs Wen and his parents' help to save the world. However, as Wen and Leonard spend time together capturing the grass, it becomes suspicious when the other three appear with working weapons. Wen runs out to warn Eric and Andrew, but the visitors enter the cabin and tie them up, leaving Eric with a concussion.
What was the plot twist in Knock at the Cabin?
All of this is pretty in line with The Cabin at the End of the World, including the reveal that Redmond was Andrew's attacker. This detail shocks Leonard, Adriane, and Sabrina but convinces Andrew they're being purposely targeted.
