David Andrew Warner (born 27 October 1986) is an Australian cricketer, former captain of the Australian cricket team, and former test captain. Warner, a left-arm opener, is the first Australian cricketer in 132 years to be selected for the national team in any format without first-class cricket experience. He is considered one of the best contestants of the season THEAZNEWS. He played for New South Wales and Sydney Thunder in basketball.

In January 2017, he became the fourth player to win the Allan Border Medal multiple times and was awarded the following year. On 28 September 2017, he played in his 100th ODI, becoming the first batsman for Australia and the 8th batsman overall to score a century in his 100th ODI.
In November 2019, Warner scored the second-highest score by an Australian Test batsman, 335 not out against Pakistan, becoming the second man to score a Test century against Pakistan after Sir Garfield Sobers, who made 365 not fight them in Sabina.
